Summer is in the air and so is the need to hit the gym as I prepare for that summer ready body. Here are some of my favourite day to day items that not only feel great to wear but are equally as functional from home to the gym of your hot yoga class!
Digital Dreams festival is right around the corner and just like last year, the Canadian music festival teamed up with the makers of Vitaly to release its custom collection!
What I love about Vitaly is that it's unisex and has some really sleek pieces that can be worn every day or on a special occasion. I was really loving the austronaut pendants that came out last year! So this year I just had to see what Vitaly and Digital Dreams would come up with next!
Similar like last year the two power houses came together to bring a custom pendant. The Giza x Gold pendant comes in stainless steel and it's definitely one of my favourite piece from the collection followed by the "I must be dreaming" illusion hat.
The collaboration also resulted in a custom Horus watch. The watch features a gold compass with a two tone dial. A very sleek accessory to go with the rest of the collection. You can find the entire collection now on the Vitaly website available to purchase right in time for the Digital Dreams festival at vitalydesign.ca

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to attend my dear friend @TuxedoSergio's Versace event in collaboration with World Vision!!
For every item purchased during the campaign, Versace gave 10% of the proceeds to World Vision. It's such an amazing thing to see when fashion and charity come together. The event was put on in collaboration with Joan Kellly (Real Housewives of Toronto)
Check out my photo diary below with some of my favourite Versace pieces -
The Nike golf club pop-up shop was in full swing this month in Toronto , Literally!
The Nike Golf Club pop-up featured a virtual golf course simulation where patrons got the opportunity to try on a fresh pair of the newest Nike Lunar Command 2 shoes.
At the same time practicing their swing as the staff helped with form and posture!
After a heavy workout, I got to fuel up with my choice of one of three Elixr juice lab potions and protein bars while taking in the cool installations and products.
I chose the try the Elixr juice 'Second Base' which is filled with kale, cucumber and apple goodness!
Then I proceeded to make my way upstairs to hit more rounds for a full course as the Nike attendees guided me through the simulation by correcting my swing!
The Nike golf club pop-up was a must see this month in Toronto and an excuse to get pampered in Nike gear while staying fit!
The pop-up featured the newest Nike Lunar Command 2 shoe which features Nike Flywire technology and super lightweight cushioning! Paired with the sleek white golf tee and nike golf towel, I had all the right accessories to hit the virtual golf course!
The new Nike Flywire technology is an ultra-light super strong cable like material that works with the the shoe laces to deliver ultimate stability and comfort when golfing!
The Nike Flywire technology gives the shoe a springy feel for head to toe comfort and stablity!
Peace Collective is one of Toronto's rising brands turning it's notable Toronto v.s Everybody slogan into a massive success! After baseball player Jose Bautista dawned the slogan on his shirt, the brand started to immediately gain recognition.
The Peace Collective is owning its Canadian roots by partnering with the likes of the Juno Awards as well as the Toronto Blue Jays. The brand just released its capsule collection alongside Frank and Oak, while also colloborating with Toronto's creator community at the Free Agency.
The Free Agency and the Creator Class community hosted the launch of the Blue Jay'soff-field collection in a gallery format inviting Toronto's top creators to the base. I had the pleasure of attending and mingling with some of the top creatives in Toronto! Take a look at some of the exclusive merch.
Working on some amazing projects coming up!! One of which is this amazing campaign for 6ixSide Clothing Co in collaboration with Responsive Production's upcoming documentary Post to Paycheque. Our team seeks out to learn about the world of product placement and brand campaigns on social media.
The documentary comes out in February!! The journey follows me in the world of online blogging and microblogging where we are surrounded by product placement and manufactured images. Our team takes you behind the action in collaboration with some of Toronto's rising brands. The documentary takes a closer look at the world of influencer marketing with a focus on authenticity in social media.
The documentary takes you to the onset of a social media campaign as we see it through from the beginning stages to shooting the images and everything than can happen in-between.
6ixSide Clothing Co is a local Toronto brand that has started to see some national acclaim jumping on the "6ix Side" trend.
What I really enjoyed about the clothes was the quality of the materials. Often times when brands are focused on trends the quality diminishes, however the crewneck sweater was super warm to wear even when we were filming outside. I love the fitting and the feel!! The premium material and graphics on the crewneck are a new direction for the brand!! The crewneck will drop in January for consumers everywhere.
The grey pom pom toque is also really nice to wear! I've caught myself grabbing it on the go for colder days!! The pom poms also make it super fun to wear around!! All in all it's a super cute addition to any winter wardrobe whether your running between exams or on the go in the city!
Stay tuned on my blog and socials for more information about the documentary and release dates!!
Now that I've been able to free up some time in between my summer job and TIFF season, I've had some time to work on some creative projects. One that I happen to come upon is a friend's music video shoot. I first met Rajan preforming at DesiFest a few years back. Since then I've seen him grow into an artist who has been able to adapt with the trend and sound of the current R&B genre that defines Toronto. That being said, I couldn't possibly pass up the opportunity to be a part of his upcoming track titled OMG.
act in two scenes in the music video, one that is within an office setting and the other is a more laid back party vibe. My pink TopShop romper was the perfect stand-out outfit to make a mark in the video.
TORONTO FASHION WEEK LOOKBOOK
Two days of fashion fun at the glamorous King Street location housing the David Pecaut Tents. Canada's top fashion brands and runway presentations take Toronto. Toronto Fashion Week is one of my favourite times of the year where I get the opportunity to connect with fashion industry professionals and watch runway presentations by some of Canada's top designer brands. Street Photographers flock from across the globe mixed with local fashionistas and celebes. The best part is that this is a fashion free zone where you can wear anything no matter how crazy you'll get some sort of fulfillment from it. This year I have had a rather obsession with tan and whites and those were the reoccurring colour palettes for my wardrobe! Sprinkle on a little influence from Bey's Formation video of chunky jewelry and you've got your self a subtle but blended out outfit.
Between classes and the tents I needed to wear outfits that I could comfortable move in but also that let me express my style. I had no time at all to shop! So I had to resort to my closet and these are some of the picks that made up my Fashion Week Lookbook.

Mikhael Kale is a designer who knows how to make any outfit stand out from the crowd. The designer is most well known for producing power silhouettes. Specifically for this collection we catch him playing with velvets, bead work, denims & plastics.
A mix of many different elements that synchronize splendidly to bring his runway collection to life. Mikhael Kale utilizes soft pastel colour tones like blue and beige with deep coffee tints, punchy velvets and ocean blue denims.
Beyond grateful to cop a front row-seat to all the action and the opening night presentation of Toronto Fashion Week and my all-time favourite designer Mikhael Kale!
The designer is a personal favourite of mine, mostly because I can appreciate how well Mikhael Kale has managed to keep such edgy silhouettes in his designs balanced with simplicity.
My favourite piece from the collection is this blue coat with plastic elements!! The designer ended up reposting this picture I took of the runway piece on the Mikhael Kale instagram which was super cool!!
Looking forward to stopping by more shows by this talented designer in the upcoming seasons!
