MONOCHROME SUMMER END LOOKBOOK

Weekday vibes between work and play call for some mix and match between monochrome basics  ...

I recently collaborated with the multi-talented artist visionneilwho will also be showcasing some of the shots from this series in his upcoming gallery preview at the Commons Photography Studio: I knew that working will visionneil meant that I had to take the opportunity to do an ootd look for you guys!! So we got together to do a look book with my favourite look of the season!

White halter top with high waisted back pants and a my favourite sun hat!

This totally defines my aesthetic on mixed sunny & cloudy days when the weather can suddenly take a turn on you and become windy or cold!  My new found obsession with basics is well, every growing! I can't help but collect as many basics as I can. They just take my wardrobe to a whole another level because the mix and match possibilities are endless!

Check out my lookbook with visionneil below!

SPRING TRAINING WITH PEACE COLLECTIVE

Peace Collective is one of Toronto's rising brands turning it's notable Toronto v.s Everybody slogan into a massive success!  After baseball player Jose Bautista dawned the slogan on his shirt, the brand started to immediately gain recognition.

The Peace Collective is owning its Canadian roots by partnering with the likes of the Juno Awards as well as the Toronto Blue Jays. The brand just released its capsule collection alongside Frank and Oak, while also colloborating with Toronto's creator community at the Free Agency.

The Free Agency and the Creator Class community hosted the launch of the Blue Jay'soff-field  collection in a gallery format inviting Toronto's top creators to the base.  I had the pleasure of attending and mingling with some of the top creatives in Toronto! Take a look at some of the exclusive merch.

NATURE V.S NURTURE - NVSN

The nature v.s nurture debate can be considered as one of the oldest arguments in the history of psychology. Does who we are as individuals stem from a part of being human and our inner workings (nature) or as a result of our environment and experiences (nurture).

NVSN Canada is a clothing brand that embodies the nature of giving back in order to bring awareness to mental health and stigma. A conversation that needs to be had today in the 21st century where something like sex isn't even taboo but what's inside our very human emotions and mind is such a hush hush conversation.

I had the humbling opportunity to be a part of their holiday campaign that released their Nature v.s Nurture line! What made me attracted to this brand right away is the fact that 4$ from very purchase made goes towards NVSN's partner mental health youth program while catering to youth and suicide prevention programs. Here are some behind the scenes images from the campaign and the two unisex items that I absolutely loved taking home with me!!

I fell in love with the NSVSN black hoodie right away!! It's super cozy and the logo design at the back makes it stand out! This is definitely going to be my go-to clothing item over the cold months!! The white NVSN long sleeve tee is also super cute, I wore it with high waisted tights and tucked it in to give it a preppy feel. I had an amazing time collaborating with NVSN, I love learning about brands that are giving back in some way!! You can see their full collection here!
